I agree that this is a nice dance to a lovely piece of music, where I disagree is not putting in restarts which make the dance flow much better, it is classified beginner and not absolute beginner. Personally, I teach new dancers restarts from the ‘get go’ by using Maddie’s Rocket to the Sun its always a floor filler with new dancers and they never have a problem after that with restarts – same goes for teaching the Cowboy Charleston and introducing an & count from the start the dancers don’t even realise they are doing it. I guess its down to how the teacher structures their lesson plans though. If I do teach this dance I will, of course, teach it without restarts but only, out of respect, not to confuse dance floors and other dancers when my dancers go out and about.

Taught this dance in my virtual class and it is sooooo good to this song. I really enjoyed practicing my basic rumba movements with this dance. Thank you all so much for the delightful choreography.
