I taught this dance to my age uk improver class , first week they found the rock ,coaster step trickey but did the count with them all ok , they love the music and it's great to get a lovely dance again without having to think of tags and restarts they love it This dance is well worth a look .

I taught this dance to my improver class. At first there were lots of mumblings and grumblings because the choreography and timing is a bit different than the usual rocks and shuffles. That's what I loved about it!! Anyway, the second week - everybody's head seemed to come up and they looked more "oooh ... this is actually really nice"...!! Bingo! When teaching it, I had to give count 5 in Section 2 a name as it is a step on it's own and everyone kept forgetting to do it... so I called it Dave! Problem solved - nobody forgot it after that! Audrey has done something very refreshing here. The song by Ann Tayler is gorgeous too !! I would recommend it as your next experienced improvers teach.

A lovely dance which is well choreographed to a beautiful track. Enough interest to appeal to intermediate dancers and a pleasure to dance. Thanks Audrey.
